During this year’s Design Miami/Basel, Nucleo presented some new pieces.

In the Gallery Nilufar booth, they presented their latest collection called Presenze. Made from resin, the Presenze chairs and console have a nearly candy-like appearance. Jogs my memory of that crystal candy that comes on a stick. These are probably root beer flavored.

Their Bronze Age table and Resin Fossil Coffee Tables were also on display at Gabrielle Ammann Gallery.

The Bronze age table is a part of the Metals collection, which is composed of 3 tables made with three different materials which are in accordance with the age of metals: Copper Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.

Domenic Fiorello is a designer/furniture maker based out of Rochester, Ny. His pieces from 2011 include a chain of sunshine wood furnishings which are simply beautiful.

A Somber Man’s Table is product of hard maple and dyed epoxy. The pattern is electrified by the road-work of Sol Lewitt.

The Plant Pods are created using a CNC router and specifically designed to be pod-like for planting succulents.

The Addison Bench is made up of white ash with dyed epoxy and a linen cushion.
